Hungary – Update 1

Hello All,
Underneath is an update on our trip to Budapest and what we need from you.

Booking Update
Since booking closed early october we have been really busy booking all parts of our expedition. We can confirm insurance, flights, accommodation in both Visegrad and Budapest is all booked with deposits paid.
There are 32 participants made up of 23 young people and 9 leaders. We will keep you posted as activities are planned and booked.

Pre Camp

As communicated in the original launch information we will be holding a pre-camp before we go away to get to know you all and your strengths. This will be taking place on 13th – 15th April, so book it off work, plan your coursework or revision around it etc.

This camp is mandatory for all participants as it will prepare you for when we go away.

Further details to follow in the new year but we can confirm you will have the opportunity to have a say in the activities we do in Hungary during the camp.

Payment Schedule

Below are the remaining payment dates.

5th March 2018 – £200

7th May 2018 – £200

Payment must be received no later than the dates above.

As we explained during the presentation evening back in the summer and communicated in the pre booking information, part of the trip funding would need to be generated by group fundraising and all those going will need to be involved. Our target by summer next year is £10,000. These fund will make the activity part of the expedition a WOW factor.

We are more than confident we can do this as the leaders have already secured funds of £2,600 over the summer.

2 points for you and your families to support

Bag packing

You all need to support these as every penny will go into your activity budget.

Parents help is needed too, so the more the merrier.

Choose all day or 1/2 a day.

Really looking for every family to cover 2 slots across the 2 days. (Minimum).

So 1 full day for one person or 2 half days for 2.

10th Dec Broughton Tesco 11 till 5

24th Dec Broughton Tesco 11 till 5

We will be creating a booking sheet, to sign yourself onto a slot. We will need at least 20 people per bag pack.
